Maple loves children and lights up when she sees them! She enjoys playing with her best friend Gray and is often seen playing with her and Belle. She can be shy around new dogs and new people. She warms up very quickly with people and is very affectionate and playful. She loves toys and enjoys picking them out and running with them. She can be scared by sudden movements and loud sounds and will seek comfort in people.

Gray is shy but extremely sweet! It takes her some time to warm up to new people and new dogs. Once she does, she is very playful and enjoys running with other dogs. She is best friends with Maple and will often play with her and Belle. When Gray warms up to people, she can get very excited and jump for joy, making her a favorite with shelter volunteers. She also gets excited just seeing her leash and loves to go on walks! Gray has displayed some food aggression towards other dogs due to her size and having to compete for food in her lifetime, so she would benefit from training around food and resources.

May is very playful! She hasn’t encountered a dog that she doesn’t get along with. She is friendly and trusting of all people, even strangers. May loves to go on walks and hikes. She is very food motivated and loves bread and sausages. May also likes to hunt – including birds, lizards, and insects – so she should go to a home without smaller animals (cats, rodents, reptiles, etc.).

Layla is a very social and playful dog. She wants to play with almost every dog she meets! She also loves toys and enjoys choosing her own. Layla is still learning to walk on a leash but enjoys it very much. She can be shy with people but it does not take her long to warm up. Layla is extremely affectionate, fun, and outgoing. She does well on car rides but she does get a little car sick. Layla would benefit from having doggie siblings in her new home!
